Born of the desire of several Brazos Valley residents to support worthy organizations, Brazos Charities is a non-profit organization in Bryan College Station, Texas.
Every year, Brazos Charities selects an organization to receive the proceeds from an annual event.
In November of 2012, Brazos Charities, along with the George Bush Presidential Library Foundation, held two events at the George Bush Presidential Library Center at Texas A&M University saluting our wounded warriors.
Proceeds from the events were donated to the Warrior Family and Support Center at the Center for the Intrepid, which is located at the Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas.
- Nov 14, 2012 – The George Bush Presidential Library Foundation hosted Major General John S. Cowings to discuss the role of minorities and ethnic groups in U.S. Military history.
- Nov 16, 2012 – Brazos Charities hosted Marcus Luttrell, former U.S. Navy SEAL and New York Times bestselling author for a private reception and seated dinner.
